FSCC Worker Fitness Centre: Encouraging Healthy Living

The faculty is just one of the neighborhood companies functioning with the Healthy Bourbon County Action Workforce (HBCAT)to make improvements to health in the community.
When the higher education understood grant funds was available for an staff fitness middle via HBCAT, “we sprang into action to make the prospect for actual physical activity (for staff members) on campus,” Yount reported. “We have about 150 in addition staff.”
The Healthy Bourbon County Motion Staff Grant to FSCC for the undertaking was for $12,500.
“Discussion of making a fitness middle for FSCC workers started in September of 2017 and the health and fitness center opened in February of 2019,” she claimed. “The FSCC Employee fitness center was designed to give staff 24/hr access to a facility that would inspire healthy living and a healthy workspace.”

The fitness centre is situated in the higher stage of the Fort Scott Group University Faculty of Cosmetology, just off Horton Street.
